Gratitude and Manifestations

Gratitude and Manifestations
I ‘ve been wanting to start keeping a log or journal of the Manifestations that have started happening in my life as I notice them so that I show my gratitude for them and give them recognition in my life; but just haven’t gotten them down. So I have decided that here is the best place to do this. A place where a record of the things I am so grateful for in my life is recorded, this is a natural extension of that. The More Grateful we are, the More things we will Manifest into our lives. This seems to have proven true so far in my life. I t’s especially important that when this Does happen, that we acknowledge those things and show our appreciation to the Universe, so that it can continue to happen more and more. Gratitude begets more great things in your life.
So here is the beginning of me acknowledging those things that have manifested into my life. Unfortunately I now have to recall on memory, since I haven’t been writing these things down. So I am going to just start out with a few things that have happened recently. May you always remember to be and feel grateful and acknowledge to the Universe that which you have already been given in your life
Manifestations:
1.        I had been thinking about a Ken Burns movie I had seen many years ago (1996) and wished that they would rebroadcast it. I had only seen it once and had never, ever seen it even promoted or rebroadcast like others such as Baseball and The Civil War. I had begun to think about it again recently and just a couple of days later, I was looking for something different on Netflix, which what I watch now almost exclusively and there it was. It hadn’t been there a few days prior, but now the exact movie that I wanted to see, was available to watch instantly on Netflix. It’s called, The West and is a marvelous accounting of our history and The West. Absolutely worth watching for those that have never seen it.
2.      I was thinking a great deal about a friend of mine today, Tiffany- I was thinking very deeply about her, and haven’t heard from her in quite a while. A few hours she called and left a message on my voicemail.
3.      I wanted to make myself my own collage for a Vision Board. I had a nice collection of photos stored on my computer as well as other things. I was going to have to print all of these off however, which would mean a lot of time and ink. I thought about this for two months and kept wishing there was some kind of program online that would allow me to make one online. Then all of a sudden, Oprah created just such a thing. She came out with a program that would allow for you to create a collage Vision Board, as many of them as you would like to Create, for free. It has all of the tools I wanted, included the ability to create words and phrases and put whatever pictures and photos you have saved online. It even has the ability to share it and print it off. It was exactly what I wanted.
4.    I saw an amazing woman online. I was led to watch a broadcast of Oprah’s Life Class, which featured Eckhart Tolle, whom I had never heard of. I had not been following Oprah and had not watched her show in years. But I watched amazed and fascinated and was even more awestruck at a woman in the audience named “Rita”. That was all I knew of her name. I added her name to the Vision Board I created by Oprah’s site and within days was able to not only find out her last name, but was able to find her on a social network site, send her a message to ask if she would be my friend, and she accepted. She has been such an inspiration to me and she is who I look up to be as enlightened in my path and journey someday. There is something about her that makes me just want to have a hug from her and perhaps someday that will happen.
5.      I was led to a photographer named Trey Ratcliff. Someone else I had never heard of but was so inspired by his photography I just suddenly knew who I wanted to be like in my work. I put his picture on my Vision Board as well and sent him a message via his Facebook fan page and let him know of my aspirations and wished I could someday intern under him. I didn’t get a reply from him but what I did discover was a program/schooling of sorts that he offered. “Personal” classes if you will. I purchased these classes not knowing how they were set up, and just thought I would be learning some of his tools and tricks of the trade so to speak. What it turned out to be was 9 lessons with him personally teaching them where you see him “live”. He includes homework and his own raw photos to work with. It was indeed, me being taught directly from him. I haven’t been able to do the classes yet as I need the programs that he works on. I am working on that part to be able to afford that.
6.      Back before my husband left me the first time we had discussed getting a dog someday. We actually would talk about this on and off quite often. One Sunday we watched the Sunday Morning Show together and there was a story about a dog that one of them had gotten and how they had come to have her. She was so cute and was the kind of dog I had mentally always wanted but didn’t know what she was. The man in the story admitted she was a mutt. She had these cute bows in her hair and was so darling. I told my husband then, that THAT was the kind of dog I wanted. I began a search, and the closest I could come up with was a “Benji” type but couldn’t find anything that looked just like ‘that’ dog.  After a while I forgot all about it again, and when the subjects of dogs came up, we talked about a Golden Retriever, (one that I had always wanted) and a Chow. After my husband left the second time, I became very lonely. My dad agreed to let me get a dog. I settled on a Golden Retriever but was concerned about the amount of shedding. I did a lot of looking online and researched a great deal. I still kept thinking it was the right kind of dog for me except for the shedding, which I didn’t want. My dad began to keep an eye out for me for puppies in the paper and showed me a listing for “Goldendoodles” which are a Golden Retriever and Poodle Mix. I had never heard of such a thing but after speaking with the breeder decided to go look at them. They were gorgeous and looked just like Golden Retriever puppies and have much of the characteristics of a GR but with none of the shedding like Poodles. Perfect. I picked out our new family member. As she grew more and more she got a fluffy face and body. Recently as I was sitting and looking down at her with her bow in her hair, it hit me like a ton of bricks as she looked up at me. She looked just like the dog I had wanted so badly but couldn’t figure out what she was. I had gotten the kind of dog I wanted all along and the Universe had, had to wait until the time came until it was possible to bring her into my life, but when that happened, it did.
